Take a few minutes to read over the following information.  It is important to both of us.

Minimum product billing If the total product cost is less than our minimum ($25.00), we require that you pay the minimum plus sales tax (if applicable), packaging and shipping. Each P.O. is assumed to be a separate order.  P.O.'s with two or more ship to addresses will be handled as separate orders, each subject to a minimum charge.

Prices All prices are F.O.B., Skokie Illinois, subject to change without notice, and not subject to further discounts.  Applicable sales tax, packaging and shipping charges are additional to published prices.

Payment terms All order must be paid for in advance of production by credit card or check, unless otherwise arranged.

Shipping instructions Most products are shipped and insured by United Parcel Service, unless otherwise requested.  We cannot ship to a P.O. Box or by U.S. Mail.

Damaged product We turn over merchandise in perfect condition to the carrier and we are not responsible for damaged suffered in transit.  The carrier, by law, is an agent of the customer and all claims for damage must be filed by the consignee.  Before accepting merchandise inspect for damage or shortage and refuse to sign the bill of lading until so noted.  Claims for damage, concealed or otherwise, must be filed with the carrier within seven days.  Do not completely unpack damaged merchandise until the carrier makes an official inspection.

Shortage All claims for shotages or errors must be made in writing within five days of receipt of your order. No claims will be allowed thereafter.

Returns or cancellations No merchandise may be returned or cancelled without written consent and shipping instructions.  Authorized cancellations or returns are subject to a 25% charge.  Products which have a five-day (or less) production time are, in any case, not subject to cancellation. All custom products and the Vista modular curved metal frame system are not, in any case, subject to cancellation.

Colors Colors may vary from the color shown on your monitor and are subject to slight variation from batch to batch.

Blank units With the exception of the "You Do It" nameplates series, Lettering Specialists signs are priced with the assumption that the signs will be lettered.  Blank units are available with a surcharge of the cost of 10 letters, per insert.

Production schedules All estimates of time are done in good faith and every effort will be made to adhere to published schedules.  However, they are subject to change without notice due to avaliablilty of materials, work load, etc.

Guarantee All products are guaranteed against defective workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of shippment.

Past due accounts We cannot service any account with a past due balance.  A service charge of 1-1/2%, per month, will be added to past due balances.

Sizes All sizes are approximate.

American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Lettering Specialists, Inc. understands the intent of the law and will make every effort to supply the correct signs.  Unfortunately the federal law is somewhat vague and ambiguous in its wording. Lettering Specialists, Inc. provides information on the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) on a voluntary basis.  All information verbally expressed or provided in a writ ten form is strictly a matter of opinion. Lettering Specialists, Inc. can assume no liability for the information provided with regard to accuracy, completeness and interpretation.
